Anyone else feeling anxious AF?

The last couple of weeks I have been anxious AF.  Anxiety is something I have spoken about on here before and it’s something I am open about.  Something I realize I need to work at every day - and although I know how to control it, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t something that I still don’t live with everyday.

I once had an old employer say to me “I knew you used to have anxiety but I wasn’t aware that you weren’t over it and that it is still a thing”.  That one made me laugh out loud *clueless.

Different things work for different folks, I myself take medication, go to counselling, try to mediate and the list goes on.  Sometimes the best cure for me is simply a long walk with the pups.  There is never just one cause of why mine will flair up, but in this case I’m chalking it up to the fact that I am still learning to be my own boss, and learning that it is ok to relax and turn off.  There is always going to be a never ending list of things to do, that is just the reality of the beast - but that is also what is so exciting and why I love this career so much!  It is ok to feel anxious, stressed and overwhelmed.  Embrace those feelings and resonate with them.

Hit up that spin class or go for that walk without your phone.  I am guessing as a Realtor that there are more of you than not that are feeling this way from time to time. That’s part of the reason I wanted to share these feelings - and honestly because it just felt damn good to write them down.

Take a deep breath - you got this, and I am always here is you need to chat.
