Well S.A.M. Fam - it’s been a slice.
Don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere, we’re just getting started!
In this blog post, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've had over the past year at Socially Acceptable Media (S.A.M.). From our launch to the present, Dana and I have worked tirelessly to build our social media management services. Join us as we recap the highlights, the challenges, and the lessons learned along the way. Get ready for an exciting read that will leave you inspired and eager to see what the future holds for S.A.M. Fam!
Take a trip back to May 2022 with us, when Dana and I were busy preparing for our launch. Every detail of our website was meticulously checked to ensure a seamless user experience. But our ambitions went far beyond the first year—we envisioned what our business could become in 5 years, even 10 years down the road and dreaming big is essential when the World Wide Web is at your finger tips - hello A.I. and ChatGPT!
In all honesty, I’m proud to say that our progress in the first year meets my initial expectations - we’ve done a whole lot in just 365 days! However, we're not stopping there. We have exciting plans for further growth and expansion in the near future. Stay tuned for what lies ahead!
Throughout this eventful year, we had the pleasure of working with incredible management clients who entrusted us with their social media pages. Simultaneously, we delved into the world of SEO writing, learning more than we ever thought possible in just one month. Additionally, we embarked on an ambitious project—creating and launching an online course designed to teach real estate professionals the art of effective Instagram usage. While it was a labor of love, the final editing phase left me physically drained but immensely satisfied.
One of the most significant personal challenges for me was reintroducing the concept of work-life balance. Initially, this balance was virtually nonexistent as we poured our hearts and souls into launching the business and the online course within a few months. However, a podcast episode by Jay Shetty (listen here) shed light on the notion of work-life balance being more elusive in today's world. I realized that physically removing myself from my working environment is crucial to switch off my work-mode and switch back into my home or just regular life mode. But achieving a perfect work-life balance is a topic for another blog post!
We're thrilled about what we've accomplished together in just one year and eagerly anticipate what's to come for our S.A.M. Fam!
Thank you for joining us on this remarkable journey!
